What is it? She Skis is a women-only ski testing clinic. It's a balance of high-end instruction and the opportunity to demo over 30 pairs of women-specific skis with instructors helping you to both improve your technique, your knowledge and experience level. Off the slopes, She Skis is about camaraderie, apres-ski parties, great food and a gear bag full of clothes, hats and other fun things.

When is it? February 26-28 (arrive the evening of Thursday, February 25th for an intro party followed by three days of skiing).

What are the details: She Skis is a three-day clinic for intermediate to advanced female skiers. This intensive and fun clinic is designed to enhance equipment knowledge and technique through the testing of next year's woman-specific skis (a season before the gear becomes available to the regular public) on Vail's diverse terrain.

Who's involved with the event? Krista Crabtree, Vail instructor and SKI Magazine's former women's ski test director is the clinic's organizer. Top female instructors from Vail, lead by pro ski instructors and former ski testers such as Linda Guerrette, will teach participants the latest ski technique as well as how to test skis.

What does the program include? The clinic includes a three-day lift ticket, over 30 pairs of skis to demo of the hottest new gear (before it hits the market) from Atomic, Dynastar, Fischer, K2, Salomon, Blizzard, Head, Kastle, Elan, Rossignol and Volkl, instruction in a small-group setting, ski test cards, an intro party, daily apres-ski wine and cheese parties with tech talks about boots and boot-fitting, women-specific needs, and news on the newest gear from each ski company—plus raffles, T-shirt, awesome goodie gear bag and more.
